Sales Executive

Salary: 50-60K + commission. 100K+/yr opportunity with strong performance.

Location: Austin, TX

Looking for an experienced hunter with a killer instinct, never say die attitude and desire to be part of something special. Must be able to represent a complex technology product and sell solutions.

This is a new business development position and needs a team player who can think and sell outside the box. The primary role is to execute direct sales for purpose of new client acquisition. He/she must develop sales strategies to successfully meet and exceed sales targets and build a profitable book of business.

Propago is a young SaaS technology startup but the core platform has been proven for over 15 years. Formed by carving out a technology platform from a larger organization gives us a unique perspective on the market and a proven track record. Propago is a Marketing Asset Management platform that streamlines the entire marketing supply chain.

    Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute multi-faceted prospecting plan to create and close new client opportunities that meet or exceed monthly acquisition objectives.
  • Execute cold calls and outbound email outreach, develop strategic alliances, and effectively utilize networking groups to create new business opportunities.

  • Develop, along with management, sales plans for achieving revenue targets.
  • Input and manage all sales activities and opportunities through Salesforce.com.
  • Partner with management and other staff to communicate sales problems and solutions, geographical and industry business observations, and customer/prospect feedback.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, which will include sales pipeline forecasting and management.
  • Positively represent the company to clients and provide excellent customer service.
    Qualifications:
  • Strong ability to build rapport and network effectively.
  • 5-10 years of direct sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong "hunter" skills, strong closing skills, ability to communicate and close at the C-level, consultative questioning skills and ability to sell value, strong problem solving skills, good negotiating and conflict resolution skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A proven track record of consistently meeting and/or over-performing quota, as well as a proven ability to develop a new book of business from scratch, is required.
  • Ability to sell in a highly competitive space.
  • Strong Microsoft Office & CRM skills are required.
  • Must be goal-oriented and highly customer focused.
  • Able to handle complex client situations.
  • Ability to travel (both via plane and car) up to 20% of the time.
